Rahul Chakraborty is an actor and producer living in Los Angeles. He is noted for his unconventional performances in features, Jurassic Tale, He Be She Be, All Way Bent, Colleagues and Hijabi, to name a few. He has recently co- scripted, produced and acted in the web series, Beyond the Lines. 

Rahul is a first generation Indian American. He grew up in Kolkata and Mumbai, India. In 1998, he came to Purdue University, Indiana. And in 2018, Rahul moved to Los Angeles area. 

Nurtured by multilingualism, inspired by unconventional writers and disturbed by global ethnocentrism, Rahul collaborated with Mrs. Sailaja Bandopadhyay and formed a Film production house, Times & Images. 

Inspired by non-proscenium theater, Rahul also co-founded a theater group in Texas, M.I.S.T (Masks, Issues & Stages Traversed). M.I.S.T focuses on the tales of marginalized people. Rahul regularly performs for M.I.S.T.  

Formal training, with Will Wallace, Jean-Louis Rodrigue & Kristof Konrad, Larry Moss in Los Angeles, and then Bill Hopkins of the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute at New York, have groomed Rahul as an actor/producer.

Rahul enjoys helping people with communication impairment.
